Synopsis:
While investigating a mysterious device found hidden in her car, a low level JPL researcher finds herself the target of government forces and is now on the run with the safety of the world in her hands.

Kent Faulcon is a highly acclaimed actor-writer-director who appears regularly in leading and supporting television and film roles, enjoys a career that provides him with the best of all worlds: the opportunity to work with highly renowned actors and directors in some of the biggest films and TV shows in the business and the freedom to work on smaller projects about which he cares deeply. Faulcon is a versatile and classically-trained Shakespearean actor who has been seen in memorable films, television series and stage.

Sizzle Reel - Kent Faulcon 2020
https://vimeo.com/405620458

Director Biography - Kent Faulcon
Within months of graduating from the North Carolina School of the Arts with his B.F.A. in acting, Kent Faulcon was directing his first short film—White Line, the story of two young African American men hired to drive the body of a family friend in a hearse across the rural South for burial. The film was shot on location in a special place—Tabor City, North Carolina, a tiny “three-stoplight” town where Kent’s grandmother lived on the “black side” of the railroad tracks.

Kent now believes he was born with a thirst for storytelling. The first and only artist of any kind in his family, Kent was featured in the Los Angeles Times in March 2008 along with Charles Burnett and Ava DuVernay as part of “a new wave of young independent African American filmmakers armed with audacious visions and fresh perspectives about black life.”

Kent’s independently financed and produced debut feature film Sister’s Keeper was selected to screen at over a dozen film festivals in the U.S. and was also selected by Black Filmmakers Magazine as part of its London International Film Festival. The action-drama, starring Oscar Nominee Eric Roberts and newcomer Denise Boutté, not only secured distribution, it was the Audience Choice Winner for both the Hollywood Black Film Festival and the Texas Black Film Festival and garnered nominations and recognitions for Best Drama, Best Overall Film, Best Actor, and Best Director in festivals across the country. Kent’s recent directing projects include the 30-minute sci-fi film short Just A Phase (currently being developed into a feature), the half-hour, single-camera dramedy pilot, Brothers In Law, as well as episodes of the Amazon web series Bougie Dilemma and an independently-produced multi-camera television series currently seeking distribution, Mi Casa, Mi Casa. Kent has been directing independent projects since college and, as part of honing his directing knowledge and craft, has shadowed directors Paul McCrane (ER) and David Grossman (Desperate Housewives).

Since completing his classical training as an actor and studying Shakespearean acting in London under the tutelage of Dr. Ronald D. Watkins, Kent has garnered leading and supporting commercial, television, and film roles. His varied and extensive time on screen with the likes of Will Smith in Men in Black (Barry Sonnenfeld), Richard Gere in Red Corner (Jon Avnet), Kevin Costner in Dragonfly (Tom Shadyac), and David Oyelowo in Selma (Ava DuVernay) has continuously fueled Kent’s desire to make the “dream career move” of transitioning from an “actor who directs” to a “director who sometimes acts.” Kent has used every acting gig as a crash course in directing. With this experience under his belt, Kent is eager to leap permanently to the director’s chair telling stories with the passion and the technical expertise he has gained from his own directing work as well as working with master directors.

Movies/TV: SAG/AFTRA B.F.A Theatre Performance Though now mainly a film actress, Chantelle has an extensive theatre background that includes musical theatre, summer stock, and straight plays with villainous character roles, strong leading lady, and quirky physical comedy being some of her favorite.Starting off in stage and studying in the advanced Meisner and Stausberg classes,Chantelle developed a vast array of characters and developed deep passion for both comedy and dramaAfter getting her B.F.A. in Theatre Performance and relocating to Los Angeles, she transitioned to film and television and began advancing her skills with stage combat and firearms. To broaden herself even further she also developed a strong passion and love for comedy, bringing a touch of love-able quirk to some of her characters for film and TV.She studied at Second City and with Leslie Kahn & Company where she honed these comedic skills even further and continued to perform in television comedies, commercials, and late night sketch comedy shows. Having a strong love for the scene study training in her B.F.A program, Chantelle began studying with Joe Palese at The Actor's Space where she found her creative home for several years. Joe and his gift of teaching and acting will forever be cherished and missed by his countless students. She also found a mentor and teacher in Carmen Argenziano at The Actor's Studio, whom she would train with for a private coaching, and will be cherished and missed dearly. Having a passion for filmmaking, Chantelle decided to expand her skills beyond acting and started producing feature films as well as plays. This is something she now loves and is very dedicated to, as Chantelle is a big advocate of artists being able to create their own art with their own artistic input. The 6th Friend was her producing debut and it's something that has sparked a wave of new opportunities in the producing world, as well as the acting world. She still has a deep love for theatre, and has been seen around Los Angeles performing at Theatre of Note's main stage, The Broadwater Theatre's Late Night Shows, and The Actor's Studio. She also is very passionate about charity work, and is a volunteer and foster for The Little Red Dog Foundation in Orange County, where dogs are rescued and brought to their forever homes. Animal rights is something Chantelle is very passionate about and it's something she would like to start a foundation for in the future. Growing up on a ranch, some of her favorite things are: western horseback riding, water tubing, swimming in a lake, hiking, the ability to create art, singing, live music, and her dog Marley and her dog Eddie whom she rescued off the street in East Hollywood. She's also an avid reader, tea drinker, and a member of SAG/AFTRA.
